psiwttr

An OPL program that collects the weather for a town and city using AT commands via a SIM7600 GSM Module and wttr.in

Development

  • Written in OPL on a Psion Siena (!) but will work on any EPOC16 device and should work on EPOC32. It uses the inbuilt serial software interface which is available over most Psion devices.
  • In regards to hardware this was developed to work with a Waveshare SIM7600X module with a TTL-RS232 converter to allow safe interactions between the psion and the GSM module.
